Your Blog
Dear Christina,
At last you have an issue log to keep the IT manager busy. It is both glad and sorry to mention that no one has since logged in any issue after the department existed some 2 years' ago. At times the team wonders if the Department has really existed at all. It's of no secret that the country's economy has not been in the best shape for the recent months and news have been travelling around that there may be voluntary separation scheme and that the BRP-Linedance IT department is in a verge of closing down. It is not doubt that someone have passed these malicious comments around that the department is always being in deep hibernation and I truly hope to have your understanding that this is undesirable however such situation was uncalled for.
Back to the issue on your BLOG, please be mindful that all the photos and images that are uploaded in Blogger Blogs go straight into Picasa Web Albums and your issue could be due to the lack of management of this storage space. Go direct to Picasa Web and log in using your Google account. The home page is the “My Photos” page. You will see all your albums that are currently stored in Picasa Web. The Blog title is the name of the album and the number in brackets next to it tells you the number of images currently stored. At the bottom of the page, you can see a message in green small font which gives you an overall idea of how much storage space all your Blog images have taken up.
Click an album. You will be amazed to see some pictures that you may have uploaded onto your Blog and thought you had either removed, deleted or not used them. For instance, they may be images uploaded into draft posts or deleted posts, or images that had been wrongly uploaded. These images still reside in your account and are occupying the precious storage space. Now is the time to do some housekeeping. If you are very sure that a photo or picture has not been used and should not be there, click that picture and delete it. Note that if you had a link to this photo from your Blog posts, the link would be broken once it is deleted.

When poring through the photos, you may find some missing ones, in particular those that you had recently uploaded through your Blog posts. Refresh the Picasa Web Album page and the images will be there.
Blogger automatically saves all your new writing as Draft posts. This may be lead to a pileup of draft posts. For example, you could be working on a post with uploaded images but did not publish it. You may log off and when you are back into your account, you create yet another new post, forgetting that the earlier draft post had been stored. Make it a point to visit Posting -> Edit Posts and look through the lists of stored posts. Delete the draft posts that are no longer wanted. If there is a picture uploaded into that post, there will be a message asking you if you would like to keep the picture or have it removed. Unless you have copied the image location for future use or have other posts linking to this picture, it is better to delete it. It will then be removed from your Picasa Web Album.
Hope the above clues help in resolving your issue. If not, we will route this issue to Computer Clinic.
Best regards,
Manager

KTM Services Horror Story
On Sunday, my kids and I went to KLCC and Midvalley to take photos of all the Christmas decoration at this two places.
My advise to parents never bring your small kids to take the KTM train which I have a very bad experience.
After our shopping and photo shootting at KLCC, we left the place at around 3.30pm to the KTM train station where we were to take the train to KL Sentral to transit to our next destination- Mid Valley. We arrived at KL Sentral station at around 4pm, the train going to Mid-valley arrived at around 4.37pm and everyone was trying to push themself to enter but the door way is so full. My youngest son was push in and while my daughter, her friend and myself couldn't get in so I decided to ask my youngest son to come out as well.
To my horror, the door was closing while my hand is half way pulling my youngest son out while the conductor of the train was watching. I could not get him out and the train door just closed and my son was left in the train with rest of the passenger to Mid Valley. I quickly ask the train conductor when is the next train will be arriving and he told in about 15min and that all he can help. I am a bit worried as my son have no handphone and money with him but luckily I have told him that the next stop is Midvalley and ask him to wait there. While the train was passing us, I wave my son goodbye and to my horror, saw that the train middle compartment was not full at all! Why is people so selfish! Just imgaine its your kids in there without you!
We waited for about 20 minutes or more before the next train arrived. When we arrived at Mid Valley train station, I came out quickly and try to look for my son and there he was sitting there waiting patiently for us to join him. I hug him and thank god nothing happen to him.

Update: Malaysia Biggest Brunch on Star Metro
Nasam founder hosts Big Breakfast to raise funds for organisation
By THO XIN YI
Hearty meal: The guests indulging in a variety of Malaysian delights at the Seri Penang Restaurant.
NATIONAL Stroke Association of Malaysia (Nasam) founder Janet Yeo set an example by hosting a Big Breakfast herself to raise funds for the organisation.
Some 150 guests had a jolly time chatting with each other and feasting on Malaysian fare like Char Kuey Teow, Assam Laksa and Fried Popiah at Seri Penang Restaurant in Atria Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya, on Friday.
The RM30 contributed by each of them went straight to the organisation, while the total bill was footed by Yeo.
Some of the guests also contributed more and were rewarded with a goodie bag.
Yeo, who formed Nasam 14 years ago, said she had a stroke in 1989.
After having undergone rehabilitation in Singapore and the United States, she was eager to share her knowledge of stroke with more people.
“Nasam started in my garage with the goal of helping stroke patients to be functioning again, and leading a normal life as much as possible,” she said.
She wanted to spread the message that stroke was preventable by leading a healthy lifestyle, and it was important to be able to identify the symptoms of stroke.
“I wish I knew that 20 years ago. I would have sought medical help immediately instead of going to work. The brain damage would be much less if the patient is rushed to the hospital quickly,” she said.
Spreading the message: The guests listening attentively to the speech by Yeo (standing, in white).
Nasam focuses on rehabilitation programmes for stroke patients after they are discharged from hospital.
There are physiotherapists and speech therapists to help the patients recover.
“We provide emotional, physical and spiritual assistance, but a motivated patient will recover faster with strong family support,” Yeo said.
The Big Breakfast event was initiated this year with the concept of having people to host breakfast in their own offices or homes, and contribute funds to the organisation.
Yeo said the event had raised about RM200,000 so far.
“It’s still far from our target of RM1mil, but hopefully it will be an annual event to support the running of our eight centres,” she said.

7th Unity X'mas Line Dance Party on Star Metro
All smiles: Two line dancers having fun spinning during a brief break
Lining up for a load of fun
ALMOST 500 people, young and old, turned up for the 7th Unity X’mas Line Dance Party and danced the night away in unison to 72 songs both new and old. The group danced to 72 songs at the event which included a wide range of music including current hits like Poker Face by Lady Gaga and Jai Ho by Pussycat Dolls.
The event was organised by the Petaling Jaya Utara Line Dance Council and co-organised by Selangor Wanita MCA, Persatuan Kemajuan Wanita Petaling Jaya and Rukun Tetangga SS2B Petaling Jaya.
Party organising chairman Elena Tan said the event tickets were sold at RM16 each
The current hit songs we’re dancing to these days make me feel young. My favourite has to be the Lady Gaga song,” Sharon Liew Yoke Heong, 48, said.
Shereen Ho Yie Wen, 22, a student has been enjoying the classes she has been attending for the past three months.
“My mother brought me to a similar party a few months ago and it was fun and I was convinced to join beginner classes three months ago,” Ho said, adding that the song variety was good.
For 70-year-old Jenny Chung Kwai Fong, staying home after retirement was boring and she had sought out an activity that involved music.
“I thought dancing was beautiful and graceful. Line dancing songs feature all kinds of music and it’s the perfect hobby for me,” Chung said.
David Yeoh Yeong Hei, 47, a salesman had been stressed and was recommended line dancing by a female friend.
“I never really liked dancing but line dancing is something else. It’s like a workout and I find myself less stressed after I started doing it,” Yeoh said.
