Good Time Update: Charity Drive & Events

Dear Dance Warriors, The Good Time Line Dance Party went on with great success due to you all. It is warmest regards and generosity from everyone of your hearts, who gave and contribute unconditionally to the charity home of Pusat Jagaan Anbe Sivam, Klang. The principal of the home is also emotionally touched by your kindness to accept their adopted homeless children and shared the joy of fruits which scented the atmosphere in SS2 Mall. Behalf of the BRP Line Dance Club, I would like to thank the SS2 Mall management for allowing us to use the floor space which is elegance and conducive for dancing. Also,Thanks to all the dance warriors for making Good Time Line Dance a memorable one.

23.7.11-Charity Event

Lam, Lim, Kim, Tean, Joyce and myself went to Pusat Jagaaon Anbe Sivam, No 2 Jalan Sri Siantan 35, Tamam Sri Andalas-Tel : 03-33733517 to do a charity event on 23.7.2011.

Babymine from Thailand performance

There is a performance troupe(Babymime) from Thailand who will be in town to present a performance in mime (ie performance without speech). The showtime is on 25th June evening. The tickets are now available for sales and cost at RM50 per seat. The name of the show is "Little Red Riding Hood" which is suitable for adults and kids viewing.

This is a fund raising exercise to support Dr Cynthua Maung to help the internationally displaced children in the Thai-Burma border. The financial resources are already stretched as the refugee camp is now facing steady increases in the number of children needing protection and education.

However, it is not their donation policy to ask you for money. Therefore a few NGO and buddhist organisation in Malaysia has jointly bring in this performance to Malaysia to raise fund for this purpose.

Below is an article of the info about the children who needs your generous contribution.. These people are the poor souls and have nowhere to go. The camp houses more than half million of people and they are literally speaking...no future. They are going to grow old, sick and die in the jungle and in a dire state. So it would be good we do our best to contribute some fund(from our bonus or income) if we can still afford it today.

PUSAT JAGAAN RAGAVENTHIRAR KARUNAI ILLAM

I had a great time with the kids at this centre and I guess the kids are also delighted to welcome us and the gifts. Ho..Ho...Ho... bringing Christmas to them was the greatest pleasure. In this centre they have around 20 kids, age from 4 to 15 years.

I would like to extend my thanks on behalf of Ms Chan to those who donated some funds during our dinner at Regal on 18th December 2010 and also not forgetting those delicious 50 Buns donated by Ronying Homebake Dainties at No 32, Jalan BRP 6/13, Jalan Bukit Rahman Putra, Sg Buloh. With the funds we purchase school shoes, bags, gifts, rice, biscuits and etc.
