Event manager's first event, hehe
The idea of organising a seafood outing at Sekincan village --my home town, of course !!!(don't be jealous, a good start is very important ) came up during our nasi lemak party yesterday morning. OK, don't just talk, let's do it on one of the Sunday after line dance class, it takes about 1 and 1/2 hr driving.
Seafood there is super excellent and you can buy fresh seafood after makan- makan, sorry price is not that cheap anymore thanks to all those crazy KL people fighting in the fish market, fish market means on the docking decks of the fishing boats. All my friends enjoy this moment very much, the kids too, I will show the kids how a big fishing boat is been made, of course, we need some luck.
After that as usual padi field site seeing trip and if lucky fruits farms visit.
You all think of a good time, I will make sure the trip is a great one. Christina can you contact our group, I am not good at talking people into something, sorry lah.

Mosquito Spray...Worth a try
The following remedy to get rid of mosquitoes was forward to me by my God brother and I hope it really works. I still have not try it yet but I wonder if ants will come or not cause listerine is a bit sweet. Anyway, here is the story;
A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby. During the summer, I don't leave home without it.....Pass it on.
OUR FRIEND'S COMMENTS: I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors. It works - in fact, it killed them instantly. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1.89. It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes. So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don't spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house.
Now these are Good Mosquitos!!!
How to stop cough in 5 minutes!!!
The following are forwarded to me through an email but I have not try it yet and hope it works. But there is no harm trying.
This is a must try...
WOW! I was raised, and raised my kids with Vicks. How come I never knew this? I can't wait for my next cough. Amazing!
READ IT ALL. It works 100 percent of the time, although the scientists at the Canada Research council (who discovered it) aren't sure why.
Treatment:
To stop night time coughing in a child (or an adult, as we found out personally), put Vicks Vapor Rub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime and then cover with socks.
Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about five minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. This works 100 percent of the time, and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comforting and they will sleep soundly. I heard the head of the Canada Research Council describe these findings on the part of their scientists when they were investigating the effectiveness and usage of prescription cough medicines in children, as compared to alternative therapies like acupressure.
I just happened to tune in to a.m. Radio and picked up this guy talking about why cough medicines in kids often do more harm than good due to the chemical makeup of these strong drugs, so I listened. It was a surprising finding and found to be more effective than prescribed medicines for children at bedtime, and in addition to have a soothing and calming effect on sick children who then went on to sleep soundly. My wife tried it on herself when she had a very deep constant and persistent cough a few weeks ago, and it worked 100 percent!
She said it felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her. The coughing stopped in a few minutes, and believe me this was a deep (incredibly annoying!) every few seconds, uncontrollable cough and she slept cough-free for hours every night she used it.
If you have children or grandchildren, pass it on. If you end up sick, try it yourself and you will be absolutely amazed.
something about enzyme
What do you know about ezymes?
Not long ago i found some good healthy ways to keep our body healthy and improve our immune system. Some people regard Enzyme as The Miracle Nutrient.
This enzyme are discovered by this Dr. Rosukun from Thailand. Enzymes are protein molecules that responsible for all biological activity in our body cells. There can be various types of enzymes which can be grouped under digestive enzymes including lipase, protease , and amylase and also under metabolic enzyme. Without enzymes , our body system will not be able to function well. In other words, no enzyme means no life! Scary right??
Enzymes act as catalysts in our body. Enzymes speed up chemical processes in our body otherwise without enzyme our body system will function very slow and may fail in functioning certain processes. Besides that Enzymes are very specific. Its like a key and a door. Only one key can fit in and open the door. Same goes to enzymes.
In other words, each enzyme can break down or synthesize one particular compound only.
Enzymes work only on renewable raw materials. Fruit, cereals, milk, fats, meat, cotton, leather and wood are some typical candidates for enzymatic conversion in industry. Both the usable products and the waste of most enzymatic reactions are non-toxic and readily broken down..I've drill my interest in this enzyme thingy because it saves time, money and moreover it naturally fermented.
There's no harm in taking enzyme compared to medicine. Its not that i am saying medicine is bad however medicine contains drug too! Why not try getting some enzymes instead of medicine. Building up own self immune system are much more better than falling sick and recover again right ? ^^Nowadays Enzymes DIY( DO IT YOURSELF) are widely known everywhere mostly in Asia. Enzymes can be fermented for years. To buy it you can ask some organic shops around about it. Its pretty expensive though but its good for health. Worth to buy or try making it yourself! Its fun~! ^^

DUAL EVENT OF THE DAY
by Alicia and guided by Cheryl
I wish to thank Cheryl for taking her time in teaching Alicia how to baked cakes. Alicia always find baking cakes very interesting and could not find someone to teach her.
As for myself, I dont really know how to bake cakes but like to eat them. Everytime when Cheryl baked cakes, we could smell the aroma of freshly baked cakes goes all the way to our living room. Alicia always wish that one day she could bake her own cakes.
Now at last, her wish comes true before her coming birthday, finally she successfully baked a cake of course with guidance from Cheryl(her "See Foo")
DURIAN PARTY
Without hesitation and dinner, our whole family attended this most unforgettable event. And not forgetting, we were also offered some cooling herbs.
There are so many good, kind and thoughtful people in this world and I have found all of them in this line dance groups. I wish them all a very healthy, happy and may all their wishes comes true.
Thank you very much my dear friends.

The purpose of vitamin for our body system
Vitamin A is required for night vision, and for a healthy skin. It assists the immune system, and because of its antioxidant properties is great to protect against pollution and cancer formation and other diseases. It also assists your sense of taste as well as helping the digestive and urinary tract and many believe that it helps slow aging.
It is required for development and maintenance of the epithelial cells, in the mucus membranes, and your skin, and is important in the formation of bone and teeth, storage of fat and the synthesis of protein and glycogen.
Thiamin may enhance circulation, helps with blood formation and the metabolism of carbohydrates. It is also required for the health of the nervous system and is used in the biosynthesis of a number of cell constituents, including the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). It is used in the manufacture of hydrochloric acid, and therefore plays a part in digestion.
It is also great for the brain and may help with depression and assist with memory and learning. In children it is required for growth and has shown some indication to assist in arthritis, cataracts as well as infertility.
It is required by the body to use oxygen and the metabolism of amino acids, fatty acids, and carbohydrates. Riboflavin is further needed to activate vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), helps to create niacin and assists the adrenal gland. It may be used for red blood cell formation, antibody production, cell respiration, and growth.
It eases watery eye fatigue and may be helpful in the prevention and treatment of cataracts. Vitamin B2 is required for the health of the mucus membranes in the digestive tract and helps with the absorption of iron and vitamin B6.
Although it is needed for periods of rapid growth, it is also needed when protein intake is high, and is most beneficial to the skin, hair and nails.
Vitamin B3 - niacin, niacinamide, nicotinic acid
Vitamin B3 is required for cell respiration, helps in the release of energy and metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, proper circulation and healthy skin, functioning of the nervous system, and normal secretion of bile and stomach fluids. It is used in the synthesis of sex hormones, treating schizophrenia and other mental illnesses, and a memory-enhancer.
Nicotinic acid (but not nicotinamide) given in drug dosage improves the blood cholesterol profile, and has been used to clear the body of organic poisons, such as certain insecticides. People report more mental alertness when this vitamin is in sufficient supply.
Vitamin B6 - pyridoxine
Pyridoxine is required for the balancing of hormonal changes in women as well as assisting the immune system and the growth of new cells. It is also used in the processing and metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, while assisting with controlling your mood as well as your behavior. Pyridoxine might also be of benefit for children with learning difficulties, as well as assisting in the prevention of dandruff, eczema and psoriasis.
It assists in the balancing of sodium and potassium as well promotes red blood cell production. It is further involved in the nucleic acids RNA as well as DNA. It is further linked to cancer immunity and fights the formation of the toxic chemical homocysteine, which is detrimental to the heart muscle.
Women in particular may suffer from pre-menstrual fluid retention, severe period pains, emotional PMS symptoms, premenstrual acne and nausea in early pregnancy. Mood swings, depression as well as loss of sexual drive is sometimes noted when pyridoxine is in short supply and the person is on hormone replacement therapy or on birth control pills.
Vitamin C is required in the synthesis of collagen in connective tissue, neurotransmitters, steroid hormones, carnitine, conversion of cholesterol to bile acids and enhances iron bioavailability. Ascorbic acid is a great antioxidant and helps protect the body against pollutants.
Because vitamin C is a biological reducing agent, it is also linked to prevention of degenerative diseases - such as cataracts, certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
Ascorbic acid also promotes healthy cell development, proper calcium absorption, normal tissue growth and repair - such as healing of wounds and burns. It assists in the prevention of blood clotting and bruising, and strengthening the walls of the capillaries.
Vitamin C is needed for healthy gums, to help protect against infection, and assisting with clearing up infections and is thought to enhance the immune system and help reduce cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and preventing arteriosclerosis.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, protects your cells from oxidation, and neutralizes unstable free radicals, which can cause damage. This is done by the vitamin E giving up one of its electrons to the electron deficient free radical, making it more stable. While Vitamin E performs its antioxidant functions, it also protects the other antioxidants from being oxidized.
This antioxidant capability is then also great in helping to prevent degenerative diseases - including heart disease, strokes, arthritis, senility, diabetes and cancer. It also assists in fighting heart disease and cancers and is essential for red blood cells, helps with cellular respiration and protects the body from pollution - especially the lungs. Vitamin E is also useful in preventing blood clots from forming and promotes fertility, reduces and/or prevents hot flushes in menopause. An increase in stamina and endurance is also attributed to Vitamin E.
Vitamin E is also used topically to great effect for skin treatments - in helping the skin look younger, promoting healing and cutting down the risk of scar tissue forming. Used on the skin it is also reported to help with eczema, skin ulcers cold sores and shingles.

Doors of Life
The Song
Door of The Life by Mariya Takeuchi is off her new album
When spring comes again, one year will be added;
The scenes reflected before the eyes will be changed slightly.
The innocent and naughty young days have gone far away.
As I sense it now, I am already on the way beyond 50's.
I say it's fun to be 20
You say it's great to be 30
And they say it's lovely to be 40
But I feel it's nice to be 50
With the unbelievable speed, the time has fleeted away.
If I knew it, though small things, all would be kept in mind, said my heart.
The full-bloomed cherry blossoms or the color changed mountain red maples,
Such scenes can be seen how many times henceforth?
I say it's fine to be 60
You say it's alright to be 70
And they say still good to be 80
But I'll maybe live over 90
To open and close the door of the life, every single one thing is so heavy.
For the sake of the beloved ones, every single one should live on.
The blue of your denim will fade increasingly to its beauty.
In the end of this long journey, anyone has some sort of its splendor.
I say it's sad to get weak
You say it's hard to get older
And they say that life has no meaning
But I still believe it's worth living
There is a dance choregraphed by Michael Barr for this music.
