March 2009 My family vacation-Taiping

1st Day - 20.3.09

Its was an enjoyable trip to Taiping even though only for 2days and one night.(20.3.09 to 21.3.09)

We started our journey at around 8am and reached Bidor around 9.30am.

We had our breakfast in Bidor at the Pung Chan Restaurant which they serve Duck herbal mee as shown below;

After that we head for Sg Klah Air Panas which located at Sungkai.

The entrance fees for Adult is RM10 and Senior citizen is RM7.00.

After the swimming and playing at the pool we drove to Taiping to locate a hotel to settle down.

When we reached Taiping its was raining very heavily. Its was Lam ideal not to book the hotel in advance so most of the new hotel in the town was fully booked.

However we are fortunate enough to get a super deluxe room which cost only RM118 per night at the Meridien Hotel, jalan Simpang located next to HSBC. Eventhough the hotel was quite old but their rooms are clean and well kept and they have a good view room.

Day 2

After our breakfast we drove down to Bkt Merah to look around and also to plan our next vacation at this place.
